Colombia Finca El Roblar Micro-Lot
Finca El Roblar is located in Suaza, Huila, Colombia and run by German Peña. The farm sits at an elevation of approximately 1,830 m.a.s.l. and consists of 4 hectares in coffee. Of those 4 hectares, 40% are planted with Caturra, 25% planted with Castillo, 20% in Variedad Colombia. The coffee is fermented in cherry for 12 hours and then de-pulped and fermented for another 20-24 hours. After washing, the coffee is dried on raised African beds in a parabolic dryer for anywhere from 20-30 days, depending on the weather conditions.
