Peru Sol y Cafe: Rosa Silva Lot
Rosa Silva has been working in the coffee industry for the last 30 years and is the proud owner of a 20,000-tree coffee farm in northern Peru. She works closely with two of her children who are also members of Sol y Café. Rosa’s lot is washed, and undergoes a 20-hour fermentation process before being sent to the solar dryer. Extremely selective harvesting and careful attention to processing results in a sugary-sweet cupping profile.
